Web Push · No App Required

Web push without an app.

Your customers install a PWA to Home Screen once — you send via API. iPhone, Android, desktop. No app store, no SDK, no push provider lock-in.

How it works

Two flows, three steps each

Your customers subscribe once. You send via API whenever you have news. No infrastructure, no push provider accounts, no app store review.

Customer subscribe
1
Visit your branded PWA
Customer taps a link, scans a QR code at your counter, or opens a button on your site — lands on push.vinficient.com/<your-slug>/.
2
Enter email, enable notifications
Customer enters the email address you already have them on. One tap of "Enable Notifications", browser permission prompt, done.
3
Add to Home Screen (iOS only)
On iPhone and iPad, Safari requires Share → Add to Home Screen before push will fire. The PWA walks them through it. Android and desktop work directly.
Business send
1
Create a tenant and API key
Sign in to the dashboard, create a tenant with your brand name and slug, then generate an API key. Your PWA is immediately live at push.vinficient.com/<slug>/.
2
Share the PWA link with customers
Drop the URL into your site header, checkout receipt, email signature, service confirmation page — anywhere your customers already are. We render a QR code for you.
3
POST to send
When you need to reach a customer, POST /v1/send with their email and your message. The service looks up all their active devices and delivers the notification — iPhone, Android, laptop.
Use cases

Built for three primary verticals

One API, isolated subscriber pools per tenant, a branded PWA at your own slug. Here's how each vertical uses it.

🚗
Automotive Dealerships
CRM systems send emails customers ignore — push notifications reach buyers the moment something changes on their deal or vehicle.
Example push
Your oil change is due
Schedule your 10,000-mile service at Fletcher Honda — slots open this week.
Example push
The 2024 RAV4 you watched is in
The Midnight Black RAV4 XLE you saved just arrived on the lot.
Example push
Safety recall notice
A recall applies to your 2021 Accord. Repair is free — tap to schedule.
Example push
Appointment confirmed
Friday 9 AM — Subaru Outback 30k service. Tap to add to calendar.
Why pushService fits: Send via the customer's email address — no app store deployment, no per-platform SDK, no push provider contract. CRM integration is a single POST per event. Per-customer routing uses an email hash, so no plaintext PII leaves your system.
📰
News Publishers
Email open rates average 20% and decline weekly — push notifications land on the lock screen within seconds of a story breaking.
Example push
Breaking: City Council votes 5–2
The zoning proposal for the downtown arts district has passed. Full coverage live.
Example push
Your morning briefing is ready
5 stories you need to know before 9 AM — today's digest is waiting.
Example push
You're one article from the limit
Upgrade to unlimited access for $5/month — never hit a paywall mid-read.
Example push
3 replies on your comment
Your take on the housing story sparked a conversation — see what others said.
Why pushService fits: Subscriber list maps directly to your existing email database — no new identity system. One API call triggers delivery to every device that subscriber has enrolled. Credits are per-delivery, so a reader with iPhone + laptop costs 2 credits, not a fixed per-seat fee.
🍽️
Restaurants
Waitlist texts go unread and reservation reminders get buried in email — push lands on the home screen the instant a table opens.
Example push
Your reservation is confirmed
Saturday 7:30 PM — party of 2. We'll push a reminder an hour before.
Example push
Your table is ready
Head to the host stand — your party of 4 is up. We'll hold for 10 minutes.
Example push
Happy hour starts in 30 min
$6 draft and half-off oysters until 7 PM tonight. Walk-ins welcome.
Example push
You hit 200 loyalty points
Redeem for a free appetizer on your next visit — expires in 60 days.
Why pushService fits: Guests subscribe once when they join a waitlist or loyalty program. No app store presence required — the PWA installs from a QR code at the host stand. Waitlist table-ready alerts are latency-sensitive; the direct VAPID push path skips third-party aggregators entirely.

Running multiple locations?
$99 / location / year

Own multiple dealerships, restaurants, or publications? Each location is a separate tenant — pay a single volume rate, scale across your group.

Per-send rate

Graduated pricing — rate drops automatically

Each tier applies only to the sends within that band. You never need to choose a plan — the rate adjusts as your annual usage grows.

Usage tier (per year) Rate per send
First 5,000 $0.010
5,001 – 50,000 $0.005
50,001 – 250,000 $0.003
250,001+ $0.001

Rates are per successful delivery. Failed deliveries (expired subscriptions, 410 Gone) are not charged. Usage resets annually from your license start date.

Annual cost examples

What you'll pay at common volumes

License ($150) + graduated per-send cost. These are annual totals, not monthly.

Scenario License Per-send cost breakdown Total / year
Single location · 1,000 sends $150 1,000 × $0.010 = $10 $160
Single location · 25,000 sends $150 5k × $0.010 + 20k × $0.005 = $50 + $100 = $150 $300
Single location · 60,000 sends $150 $50 + $225 + 10k × $0.003 = $305 $455
Single location · 500,000 sends $150 $50 + $225 + $600 + 250k × $0.001 = $1,125 $1,275
3-location dealer group · 30,000 sends 3 × $99 = $297 5k × $0.010 + 25k × $0.005 = $50 + $125 = $175 $472
50-location chain · 500,000 sends 50 × $99 = $4,950 $50 + $225 + $600 + 250k × $0.001 = $1,125 $6,075

Single-location license: $150/year. Multi-location: $99/location/year (2+ locations). Per-send rates are shared across all locations in a group and count toward a combined annual volume. 3-location example: 3 × $99 ($297) + $175 sends = $472. 50-location example: 50 × $99 ($4,950) + $1,125 sends = $6,075.
